White pepper, pear and lemon. A juicy, saline Grüner
Grüner Veltliner grapes from vines 35 years old and more, planted on mica schist and sandy loam on the southeastern slopes of the Leitha Mountains, which receive cool winds from the nearby forest. Selective hand harvest, 12 hours of skin contact and fermentation with wild yeasts in oak and acacia barrels of 500 and 1,000 L. Six months on the gross lees and another two months on the fine lees, then bottling without filtration. The nose shows white pepper, pear and lemon; the palate has a medium body, abundant juiciness and a touch of salinity. The finish is fresh and inviting. This wine is the white sister of Little Sister Red.
