An especially light Blaufränkisch at 9.5% alcohol, ideal for drinking chilled.
Blaufränkisch grapes from a granite vineyard, harvested at the end of September. After five days of fermentation on the skins in open wooden vats, the wine is pressed and moved to stainless steel to complete a long, 14-month fermentation. After bâtonnage, the wine is bottled unfined, unfiltered and with no added sulfur. The nose shows cranberry, red raspberry, pepper and an herbal hint; the palate is especially light-bodied, with fine tannin, lively acidity and a dry finish.
