Blackberry and dark cherry. A soft texture with crumbly tannins
A blend of Blaufränkisch and Zweigelt from the Heideboden area, planted partly on loess, partly on clayey sand and partly on calcareous black earth, where the winds from the Parndorf Plateau balance out the heat. The wine sees brief skin contact, spontaneous fermentation and aging in large used wooden barrels. On the nose, blackberry and ripe dark cherry; on the palate, a soft texture and refreshing acidity.
