The sparkling version of the Weiss. Pineapple, lychee and lively, fruity bubbles.
The same field blend as the Weiss, in a lightly sparkling version (Perlwein). The wine ages in barrel before it goes into bottle, to prevent a heavy deposit from building up – a technical adaptation that Martin developed specially. Bottled unfiltered and with no added sulfur. The nose has plenty of pineapple, lychee, quince, chamomile and citrus blossom; the palate has fine, lively bubbles, refreshing acidity and a dry, fruity, inviting finish.
